Satbir is a Solicitor within Quebec Law Solicitors’ Dispute Resolution team, specialising in providing legal support to small and medium-sized enterprises. His practice encompasses both contentious and non-contentious advisory matters, covering a broad spectrum of commercial disputes and litigation across multiple sectors.
He regularly advises businesses on disputes involving contracts, partnership disagreements, debt recovery, professional negligence claims, regulatory compliance, and employment-related matters. Satbir’s pragmatic and commercially-focused approach enables him to effectively support businesses through complex and often sensitive disputes, protecting their interests whilst aiming for efficient, cost-effective resolutions.
When asked what he finds most rewarding about his role he says,
“We deal with all sorts of clients, businesses, and disputes, each bringing their own unique challenges. The variety of issues we face keeps things interesting—there's never really a dull moment.”
Prior to joining Quebec Law Solicitors, Satbir amassed extensive experience advising SMEs on complex litigation and dispute resolution matters. He is adept at delivering commercially attuned legal strategies, ensuring advice is not only technically sound but also aligned with clients’ broader business objectives.
Beyond his legal practice, Satbir is deeply committed to public service and the advancement of social justice. He currently serves as a Trustee of Care & Repair Leeds, a long-standing charitable organisation dedicated to promoting independent living through bespoke home adaptations for older and disabled individuals. In this role, he works closely with fellow board members to guide strategic direction and ensure effective delivery of vital services within the community.
Satbir also lends his expertise to Clip | Employment Law Advice, where he sits on the Board of Advisors, contributing to the organisation’s mission of empowering individuals through accessible, reliable employment law guidance. His involvement supports the protection of workers' rights and helps bridge the gap between legal understanding and everyday workplace realities.
Passionate about advancing social mobility within the legal profession, Satbir acts as a mentor with the Social Mobility Foundation. Through their Aspiring Professionals Programme, he supports talented students from less advantaged backgrounds, helping them navigate their paths into competitive sectors. This work reflects his belief that merit and determination—not socio-economic background—should define one’s future.
Furthering his commitment to nurturing the next generation, Satbir also serves as a mentor at the University of Huddersfield, where he provides guidance to law students as they prepare to enter the profession. Whether through individual mentoring or broader advisory roles, Satbir consistently demonstrates a strong belief in equity, access, and the power of education to transform lives.
These varied and purposeful commitments reflect a legal professional who not only excels in his practice but actively contributes to the betterment of society, both within and beyond the legal sphere.
Satbir brings a rare blend of technical excellence, commercial insight, and a genuine commitment to client service. His ability to manage complex litigation while mentoring the next generation of lawyers is a testament to both his legal acumen and his character. He is a valued member of our team.
